Account Activation

All University of Windsor students can signup for an account on SOCR. We also provide services for clubs, faculty and staff. Please refer to the University Acceptable Use Policy. SOCR reserves the right to revoke an account, accounts are a privilege and not a right.

Student Account

Please fill out the form below to request a student account. After submitting the form, please check your uwindsor email for a confirmation email. This process, at the moment, is a manual process, and as such there is a wait time for a new account. This should take no more than 1-2 business days.

New University Club Account

All club accounts are now done through an email request to VP Online operations (vp-operations@socr.uwindsor.ca).

The application email for a club account (which has been ratified by the uwsa for the current school year) needs to contain the following information:

• Full names, student numbers and uwindsor email addresses of the current executive.
• Socr account userid(s) of the person(s) requiring access to the club account.

Due to past misuse of generic club accounts, the above restrictions have been put in place for accountability of actions. All access to club accounts is through the group system in place under *nix operating systems.
