SOCR Replacement Server

Here you will find infromation on the new (i.e current) SOCR server. The components, timeline and misc information. We started with a few versions, but we have narrowed it down to Base System X, configuration A.

Base System X

• Dual Intel Xeon 2.2ghz. Based on the Intel SHG2 Server board. (Serverworks chipset)
• Dual Channel Ultra 320 SCSI Intel Raid Controller
• 2GB Registered ECC pc2100(pc266) Corsair DDR Memory.
• Redudant Power Supply, Network, Cooling
• Storage:
  A - 76GB in raid10 (4x36.7gb): HotSwap Ultra320 10000rpm, 4.7ms seek
  B - 100gb in raid1 (2x100gb): Ultra ATA 100, 7200rpm, 8m cache, 9ms seek
